Windsong Loop Leads FREE Disposal

For the second year in a row, the Windsong Loop neighborhood in central BI went above and beyond with their April invasive weed removal!

We could not be happier that our FREE Invasive Weed Disposal program has inspired an entire neighborhood to join forces and tackle their weeds as a group. They do say that many hands make light work, and we encourage other neighborhoods to consider this tactic. We also had several individuals who rented U-Haul trucks to take advantage of the FREE disposal, and one fellow who came to the dump with full truck loads over 15 times. We appreciate everyone who did the hard work to clear invasive weeds from their property and participated in keeping our Island healthy.

There is no limit on the amount of invasive weeds one person or group can dispose of during our April program so rent that truck or trailer next year and don’t be shy!

Our FREE Invasive Weed Disposal program is made possible with support from Let’s Pull Together, Sustainable Bainbridge, Bainbridge Community Foundation, and the Kitsap County Noxious Weed Control Program.
