April is Earth Month!

Island organizations and businesses have teamed up to bring you an incredible array of events throughout the month of April that celebrate trees and our natural environment. There is something for everyone! Visit the Earth Month Bainbridge Island website for a list of events and more information!

Bainbridge Island Land Trust will host the following events:

Wednesday, April 3 – First Wednesday Work Party at Hilltop: join Land Trust staff and volunteers, along with members of the Park District’s spring break Student Conservation Corps, for a morning of invasive weed removal!

Thursday, April 18 – Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Living with Coyotes and other Wild Creatures: a presentation by Dr. Robert Long, Senior Conservation Scientist at Woodland Park Zoo.

Sundays, April 21 & 28 – FREE Invasive Weed Disposal: bring your invasive weeds to the Bainbridge Disposal Transfer Station between 10am and 4pm and the Land Trust will pay the cost of disposal!

Stand for the Land tours continue on various dates!
