Join local forestry experts for a Forest Health Field Tour and discover practical approaches to caring for your land. Get hands-on identifying and measuring trees, and learn about everything from enhancing wildlife habitat and managing vegetation to exploring restoration strategies and financial assistance opportunities. You’ll leave with new knowledge, tools, and ideas for helping your forest flourish!

Things to Know

Parking: The preserve entrance is located at 7550 Fletcher Bay Rd NE. There are 3-4 parking spaces located along the road at the entrance, and additional parking is available across the street at Johnson Farm. We ask that you please respect neighboring properties throughout your visit.

What to Expect: About a 1 mile walk with gentle hills and uneven natural terrain. You are welcome to bring trekking poles and any equipment needed to help you feel comfortable on the walk. There is no bathroom on-site.
