The Land Trust is very grateful for all of the support we have received from Bainbridge Community Foundation and its donors over the years. Funds from the Community Grants Program help us continue stewardship work on our protected properties, mobilize our robust community of volunteers, offer programs like our FREE Invasive Weed Disposal, and continue engaging youth workers through our Teen Conservation Crew.

From BCF: How the Community Grants Program Works

BCF invites nonprofits serving the Bainbridge Community to apply for funding to support the projects which will help them to achieve their mission. The organizations listed on their online giving page have submitted proposals for the annual Community Grants Cycle. The 44 person Grants Evaluation Team has reviewed each application, performed site visits, completed evaluations for each application and each organization was also screened for financial health and current nonprofit status. These applications have been vetted and are recommended for funding.

100% of Your Donation Goes to Fund the Grant Request

Today through June 16th, you can support your favorite organization’s request through BCF’s online giving page. You can make a tax deductible gift of $10 to $10,000 via credit card in support of your favorite applications at www.BainbridgeGives.org. Your donation is tax deductible* and 100% goes directly to the grant request. BCF covers all credit card transaction fees.

During last year’s 2018 grant cycle, BCF awarded 49 grants for a record $273,535.
