Shoreline Conservation Collaborative
The Bainbridge Island Land Trust is proud to be a member of the Collaborative working with other Puget Sound land trusts to protect and restore our shorelines!
The Collaborative was formed in 2014 as a response to the decline of natural shorelines that support critical habitat for salmon, forage fish, birds, and marine mammals in Puget Sound. Land Trusts are uniquely poised to tackle this issue thanks to our access to research, technical expertise, and diverse partnerships with members of our local communities.
