Planting Tutorial

So you bought plants, now what!? If you need some guidance about when and how to get your plants in the ground look no further! First, we recommend planting between mid-October and late-November.

This reduces the need for extra watering and allows the roots to get established before the ground gets too cold. Once your plants are in the ground we suggest caring closely for them by watering, mulching and weeding around them for the first 2-3 at which point they should be well enough established to survive on their own. We want to thank everyone who participated in this year’s sale and made it a sold-out success! Make sure to check back in next year for information about the 2018 Native Plant Sale.
