About the City Nature ChallengeThe City Nature Challenge is a global bioblitz event, providing an opportunity to observe and record natural organisms to help us better understand the biodiversity of our area. You can join a guided CNC event or document nature on your own — between April 24-27, use the iNaturalist app to make and share observations of wild plants, animals and fungi anywhere in Kitsap County.

Why Manzanita Watershed? The Manzanita Watershed is our priority restoration area as it supports the local and greater Puget Sound ecosystem by providing critical habitat for wildlife and a healthy groundwater supply for all. Protecting and caring for this watershed, connected through Manzanita Ridge Preserve and Manzanita Park, ensures a healthy environment for conservationists and recreationists alike!
