WSU Kitsap Extension is offering a Beach Naturalist Class that will meet all of the Thursdays in April from 6:30 – 9 pm at the PoulsboMarineScienceCenter (at the intersection of Hostmark and Front St in Poulsbo). It will also include Saturday beach walks.
The course will cover:
Overview of the Beach Naturalist/Beach Watcher Program
Beach Etiquette
Marine Shoreline/Riparing Interface and Preservation
Algae (seaweed)
Clams, crabs, anemones & friends
Fish
The course fee is $50 per person payable to WSU Kitsap Extension on or before March 26 so they can order materials.
